In May of 2014 I graduated from the Ohio State University with a B.A. in Computer and Information Science. I followed a general specialization in software applications but the core courses and available electives touched on a variety of subjects including databases, security, AI, operating systems, assembly level programming, interactive systems and web applications. In the course of completing my assignments I've gained some experience using WinSCP for remote access to college resources and Cygwin to compile linux software in a windows environment.
My time at OSU focused mainly on the use of HTML, CSS, C#,C++ and Javascript. In the months since graduation I have taken some time to increase my familiarity with HTML, CSS and Javascript/JQuery. Most recently, I have rebuilt this website using Bootstrap and spent some time familiarizing myself with section 508 to improve its accessibility.
Previous work experience was in the testing of photographic equipment for defects prior to sale as well as in the construction and assembly of various DIY photo kit components. Work was done on an "as needed" basis as shipments of materials to assemble and/or test were periodic and my work rate frequently exceeded what was available.
